What is the Mount Nittany Elementary School PTO?
What do we do?
PTO funding supports school field trips, classroom activities, student school supplies, clubs, books, spirit wear for incoming students, playground equipment, and family functions. Some family events include evenings at the playground, Litfest, Fun Run, and Exploration Fair. All students at MNE benefit from PTO sponsored events and programming. Come see how you can make an impact on students!
How can you help?
- Volunteer your time and talents - there are opportunities to volunteer at home, at school, or at an event!
- Donate supplies, funds, refreshments, etc.
- Participate in various fundraisers. Choose what your family would like to participate in. There is no obligation to participate in fundraising event(s).
Last year we were able to fund approximately $55.00/student for activities and programming. If you prefer to offer a monetary donation to the PTO, please make checks payable to Mount Nittany Elementary PTO (MNE PTO) or donate via PayPal. We greatly appreciate your generous support!
When and where do we meet?
We meet 4 times each year from 6:30PM - 7:30PM at Mount Nittany Elementary School in the library. Meetings during the 2024-2025 school year will typically be held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Currently scheduled meetings are September 10 and December 10.
